HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY RASHI… PART 2

Rashi… you must be wondering what has happened to me… I normally write such lovely messages for everyone and here all I’ve done is make fun of you!!!

So here are my true feelings!!!

I have given you some of her hilarious stories as she was growing up but now I have to say what I wanted to say in the first place… I just get a bit sidetracked… must be an age thing!!

Happy 40th Birthday My Darling Rashi!!! I can’t believe how time has flown and you have grown into a beautiful, caring , loving, compassionate young lady. You are a wonderful wife and mother always putting your family first. You whizz around organising their schedules, cooking delicious food for them and basically taking care of everything. You are the most wonderful daughter any mother could ask for. You go out of your way to make sure that you are there for me and quietly cancel any prior programme you may have even if I just hint that I would like to meet up. I love just being with you and your infectious laughter just brightens my day. You are always there to lend a sympathetic ear and always ready to go out for lunch or coffee. You can tell from my ‘good morning’ call if I am upset or bothered by anything and without even telling me you come over in a shot. 

I love the way we can talk and laugh literally about anything and everything. 

I love the way after you’ve been out partying the first thing you say when we talk is that you didn’t drink much but the problem is you didn’t eat… when you know and I know that you’ve got a hangover!!! 

I love the way you always carry all the bags when we go shopping and won’t let me carry anything just in case I hurt my back. 

I love the way you come home and sleep on the sofa after lunch and make me switch off the lights and the television and I just sit and watch you. 

I love the way Alia is a duplicate mini me and you take care of me as much as you do her. 

I love the way you get all giggly after a few drinks and start spouting words of wisdom… oh no that’s me! 

I love the way there are still certain words that you pronounce wrong and get very irritated when I correct you. 

I love the way we can drink champagne at lunch time and then blame our headache in the evening on the sambhar we had for breakfast. 

I love that you have learnt to fold the blanket after you get up as you know it irritates me to see it lying around. 

I love the way you are always wiping the tables and removing empty plates and glasses just like me. 

I love the way your eyes light up when we enter your favourite Chanel store! 

I love the way you absolutely give it your all when you are working out regardless of the pain you are going to be the next morning. 

I love the amount of patience you have during your shoots… you are like a baby whisperer. 

I love the passion you put into everything you do be it organising a party to just cooking dinner for the kids. 

Basically Rashi I love you to bits and wouldn’t have you any other way. Happy Birthday my sweetheart. May all your wishes come true, may you achieve all you desire and always keep that lovely smile on your face!!! Love today, tomorrow and everyday!!!Mom ❤️❤️❤️
